First Consulting is proud to offer third party filings through the NAIC’s System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing, also known as SERFF.

SERFF, now in use by all state insurance departments, except Florida, is a big part of the NAIC's Speed to Market efforts.

As a licensed third-party SERFF filer, First Consulting can complete all form and rate filings on behalf of any insurer – whether or not the company has signed a SERFF license agreement.

First Consulting’s staff has been making filings for over 30 years. We are experts at making Third-Party SERFF filings.

Speed-to-market doesn’t start until the insurance department receives the filing.

MANDATORY ELECTRONIC FILINGS

An increasing number of state insurance departments are requiring electronic filings.  More departments are likely to announce plans to discontinue paper filings and to require all product filings be made via SERFF.  Some require payment via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).  Click here for more information

First Consulting offers both full filings services and a unique service for Mandatory SERFF filings.  Under the unique service First Consulting will serve as a conduit.  This approach has been designed with an emphasis upon low First Consulting fees.  Client Company personnel will be involved as a major part of the process providing all forms, certifications and other required documentation.
